8 bread slices
2 beaten eggs
2 cups liquid milk
4 tbsp sugar
1 tsp orange blossom water (fleur d’oranger)
8 (1cm x 1cm) butter cubes
Honey as topping
- Hand-whisk: Milk, orange blossom water, sugar and beaten eggs.
- Dip one bread slice in the mixture. In the meantime, heat a non-stick pan on medium fire.
- Put one cube of butter on the pan, lift the bread slice from the mixture to let the excess drip off and place it on the butter. Let cook for a minute (or two) before turning over. It should brown a little bit on both sides. Remove and repeat process with another bread slice.
- Top with honey or icing sugar. Serve hot ^_^
Eating this as breakfast or during afternoon tea time really lifts up my mood to the highest ❤ And it takes less than 30 minutes. Délicieux 🙂
